Last weekend around 20 residents in the village of Lubenham opened their gardens to the public to raise funds for All Saint's Church. Many of the gardens were tucked away, and each one was delightfully different to the next. There was plenty of inspiration for novice and expert gardeners alike, and it was clear that a lot of hard work and dedication had gone into each and every garden.
Tractor trailer rides were offered to transport visitors from the village green to Lubenham Hall, and Ploughman's Lunches were served in the Village Hall. For anybody that had built up an appetite walking around this beautiful village, cream teas and cakes were also available in some of the gardens.
All in all it was a fabulous day for residents and visitors alike, and we were proud to be one of the sponsors of such a great annual event.
