Grace Homes has recently partnered with Positive Planet, an organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable living and reducing carbon emissions, to reduce the carbon footprint of our operations. The partnership will start by focusing on measuring carbon emissions across our offices and on-site operations, with the future plan to look at how to bring greener practices into our construction methods and supply chain.
Grace Homes will work closely with Positive Planet to measure the carbon footprint of the business and create a carbon reduction plan. We will then work to reduce the use of fossil fuels in its head office and construction sites.
"We each have our part to play in tackling climate change, and we are committed to reducing the environmental impact created by ourselves, our suppliers and our future homeowners," said Henry Barney, Managing Director of Grace Homes. "Our partnership with Positive Planet will allow us to take our sustainability efforts to the next level, firstly by measuring our carbon footprint and then by finding ways to reduce our carbon emissions. We are looking forward to exploring how we can bring more sustainable practices into our business."
"We are excited to be working with Grace Homes on this important initiative," said Bryony Salter, Head of Impact & Strategy at Positive Planet. "By joining forces, we can make a real difference in the fight against climate change and create a more sustainable future for our communities."
