On Saturday the 2nd of November at 1.30 pm All Saints Ringers, a group of bell ringers based at the church in Lubenham, will be ringing a quarter peal for the residents of Welland Fields. The peal will last approximately 45 minutes, and will contain an accurate number of 1,260 changes to the order of the bells.
Claire Johnson, the Tower Captain, said: “This will be an historic and joyous event where we celebrate old with new as we welcome the new homes and new people into Lubenham village.”
Anyone is welcome to come into the church while ringing is taking place, and refreshments will be offered once the peal is complete.
We're so thankful to the All Saints Ringers, and see this as a reflection of the warmth the community within the village of Lubenham.
