Local housebuilder Grace Homes has been named “Housebuilder of the Year, 2023” at the Construction Awards of Excellence, an independent awards ceremony open to all construction companies across the country.
The ceremony recognises individual and team excellence and identifies companies that set the gold standard in the construction sector. Established by the National Federation of Builders (NFB), the Awards were judged by an independent panel then hosted on the night by journalist and broadcaster, Cathy Newman.
Grace Homes’ entry focused on four Leicestershire sites that were in various stages of construction over the given time period. Planning & Technical Director, Steven Bateman said “Whilst each of these developments is distinctly different, we believe they all successfully combine a sense of place with the efficiencies of a modern home. We are told on numerous occasions that our developments “look like they’ve always been there.”, something we take pride in as it demonstrates we sensitively consider the locations in which we build.”
This award joins another accolade received earlier in 2023. Ashlawn Meadows, a development of ten striking new homes on the outskirts of Rugby, triumphed over finalists across the West Midlands to be awarded the title of ‘Best Medium Volume New Housing Development’ at the LABC’s Building Excellence Awards.
Grace Homes has been building homes in Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire since 1997. Over the years they’ve built hundreds of homes in many locations, whilst still holding the same levels of passion and enthusiasm as when the business first started. From their thoughtful designs and creative use of space, through to their rigorous standards of construction and uncommonly high quality of finish, they build houses that people aspire to live in and are proud to call their home.
Grace Homes is currently building homes in Nether Broughton, Melton Mowbray, and Stoke Albany with new projects in progress at Brigstock and Barton Seagrave. To find out more visit gracehomes.co.uk.
