Our latest show home in Burton Latimer has been so well received since its launch, with customers positively commenting on the look and feel of the interiors as well as the structural design and build quality.
The interior design for the Upton show home was created in conjunction with Sarah Mather, an Interior Designer at Fiona Nix. We asked Sarah to describe the process she went through as she planned the interiors for this home:
“The design inspiration always starts with the locality. For White Lodge Farm, the natural beauty of the countryside was an important factor from the beginning. We also looked at the materials used in the construction of this property, such as stone and timber. These natural materials lent themselves beautifully to using a soft, heritage palette throughout the home. By using a warm palette of lavender, taupe and cream, the finished home has a sense of calm about it. We feel it will provide the perfect antidote to a busy family life.”
Some of our favourite spaces in the home are:
The Kitchen/ Family room:
This incredible space is softly divided into three different areas, and through careful design is both sociable and functional. The delicately shaped French-inspired furniture contrasts with the clean lines of the kitchen area. In its entirety this space provides all the benefits of a sleek, modern kitchen whilst exuding the warmth and comfort desired from the heart of a family home.
The Living Room:
With feature artwork, layered textures and indulgent touches like the mirrored coffee table top, this room evokes a feeling of warmth and elegance. The shift in colour tone to a darker grape colour defines this as a more formal or grown-up space.
Dining Room:
This is a room for celebration and entertaining. Luxurious velvet, Damask wallpaper and crystal chandeliers, provide a subtle, everyday reminder of the fun times shared.
Master Bedroom:
This room exudes luxury from the second you walk into it because of its size and scale. The striking design of the feature wallpaper perfectly suits this expansive room, and the layered bedding creates a sense of opulence and indulgence. The result is bedroom that is akin to the master suite of a boutique hotel.
If you’ve not been to White Lodge Farm yet and would like to experience the show home for yourself, you can visit and weekend between 11am – 4pm. For more details please click here.
