The first home at White Lodge Farm was reserved within thirty minutes of its release by Richard Groom and his partner Gemma. Whilst this may seem like fast work, they actually started their search for a new home in Burton Latimer back in early 2016. Find out why they think it has been worth waiting for...
Originally from Burton Latimer, Richard and his partner decided they wanted to move back home. After an extensive search of the many different new homes for sale, they set their hearts on a Grace Homes property. Unfortunately the last White Lodge Farm homes on that phase of the development had just sold. A short while afterwards one of our customers put their house on the market. After viewing the home, Richard and Gemma knew for certain they wanted to live in a house built by Grace Homes and put in an offer, but unfortunately were unable to make the timings work to buy the property in question.
When we announced that we were to build more homes at White Lodge Farm, Richard knew they had to take action to make sure they secured their dream home. They immediately put their home on the market, and moved in with Richard’s parents at the back end of 2016. This was no mean feat, as along with the contents of their house came their wonderful menagerie of pets, including their dogs Frankie and Gypsy, their rabbits Bobby and Jenny, a chameleon and a bearded dragon!
So what was it that they liked so much about our homes? Richard told us: “The quality of finish is what you notice first off. Their homes are polished to perfection, and you can see that more care and attention has been taken when the homes are being built. We were also attracted by what is included in the price of the house. We know that the tiling, underfloor heating, working fireplace, and the oak doors is already included in the cost of our home. This has made it easier for us to budget for our move as there are no surprises.”
By keeping in touch with our Sales Manager, they were able to book in for the first appointment on the day that the first homes were released for sale, and within 30 minutes they had reserved the home they had been waiting for. With their new house now under construction, Richard and Gemma are getting regular updates on progress, and are looking forward to putting their own stamp on their new home. By reserving early they will be able to choose their own kitchen and worktops from our range, as well as personalise their flooring and bathroom tiling.
We are so pleased that Richard and Gemma have secured the home they have waited so patiently for, and have no doubt they will have many happy years living at White Lodge Farm. If you would like to find out more about the homes we have for sale in Burton Latimer, click here.
