Join in the Family Fun at Burton Latimer's Annual Duck Race and Fete

If you are wondering what to do this Sunday (25th June) then why not come along to Burton Latimer's annual fete and duck race, held at the Pocket Park in Station Road. The event is organised by the Pocket Park Group and Burton Latimer Scouts - with all proceeds going to help support their projects.

It is a fun day for all the family with bouncy castles, canoe rides, pond dipping, tractor rides and various charity stalls. At the request of Burton Latimer Town Council, Grace Homes has happily provided portaloos and Weetabix has offered free parking in their Station Road car park, (opposite the Pocket Park entrance).

The gates open at 1pm and there is no entrance fee. Once there you can enjoy:

• A full and varied programme of live entertainment throughout the afternoon
• Real ale tent
• Over 25 stands and stalls - all under cover, so rain won't stop play
• Refreshments, burgers and hot dogs, ice creams etc
• Bouncy castle, tractor rides - and lots, lots more - for children to enjoy
• Lovely walks
• AND, OF COURSE, THE FAMOUS DUCK RACE - WITH PRIZES!! The race starts at 3.30pm, and the first four ducks to reach the finishing line will win £150, £100, £75 & £50
