Howzat?! Local Foundations Support Helps Burton Latimer Town Cricket Club Keep Their Cool

We're pleased to reveal Burton Latimer Town Cricket Club as the successful recipient of the latest support provided by Grace Homes Local Foundations. The £500 donation has been used to purchase some seating for players and spectators and a gazebo to protect the scorers from the elements.

The cricket club has been in existence for more than 100 years and offers opportunities to children and adults of all ages, with the three senior teams competing in the Northants County League. Volunteer coaches help youngsters to develop both their sporting skills as well as important life skills such as teamwork, respect and responsibility.

The clubhouse is also used by a number of Burton Latimer groups including the National Autistic Society, midwife-led yoga and Parentcraft sessions and a local musical group. Local residents are welcome to hire the venue for their own events such as christenings, quiz nights and race nights.

We are thrilled to be able to offer assistance to this wonderful asset and know the newly purchased furniture has already been well-received. Congratulations to you all!
