Mr and Mrs Pedrick recently moved into their second house at the White Lodge Farm development in Burton Latimer. They originally bought one of the homes in the neighbouring Isemill Road, but as their children grew up and started driving they felt that they needed more space. Lisa told us “We knew if we came and looked around the show home we would buy a new home.”, and sure enough, a month and a half later they were given the keys to their new property.
Despite Christmas being a matter of weeks away, their previous home sold very quickly. Lisa told us “Our old house was very much in demand. It sold for the full asking price within a few days of going on the market.” With help from the Grace Homes Assisted Move Scheme, they were able to celebrate Christmas Day in their new home, with the hassle factor of moving kept to the bare minimum.
Their new home is very similar in design to their previous house, but with more room both inside and out. The double garage and four generous parking spaces mean there is plenty of parking for the whole family plus and additional guests. As you can imagine, this was particularly useful over the festive period.
This is the fourth new build the Pedricks have purchased over the years, so we asked why they had chosen to buy another house from Grace Homes. Lisa told us “There are no hidden extras with Grace Homes. With other builders we had to pay for an upgrade to get a better quality, but Grace Homes only supplies good quality products. Everything is perfect right from the start. Once you’ve had your carpets laid and hung your curtains the house is ready for you to live in. Nothing else needs doing.”
