We are pleased to announce Burton Park Wanderers Football Club, in Burton Latimer is to be the first recipient of the Grace Homes Local Foundations Initiative. We were thrilled with the interest generated by the launch of the fund that currently gives charities, schools and sports clubs in Burton Latimer the chance to receive a grant of up to £500. Similar support will be offered shortly in Lubenham.
Choosing from all of the submissions was a difficult task, but in the end it was decided that we would help this local football club by purchasing a specialised defibrillator case. We believe this to be a really worthwhile cause, and know that it will be greatly appreciated by everyone involved with the club.
There will be another round of funding in the coming months, so please send any requests in to us for consideration. You can find further information here.
