Sweet Treats Raise Much Needed Funds for Alzheimer's Society

Grace Homes team members, past and present, donned their aprons and baked an array of delicious cupcakes, raising £465 for Alzheimer's Society in the process. Despite the added complexity of lockdown, our team rose to the challenge, creating a mouthwatering selection of cakes, and delivering them to nearby friends and family to enjoy in return for a donation.

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia. More than 520,000 people in the UK have dementia caused by Alzheimer’s disease and this figure is set to rise. This is one of many reasons why we chose Alzheimer's Society as our chosen charity for 2019-2020.

So far we have raised £5,756 through generous donations from employees, contractors and suppliers and events like the jailbreak, where our Directors were locked in their offices until they had raised sufficient donations to be released!
