We recently asked the children of Meadowside Primary School in Burton Latimer to think of items that could be placed in a time capsule and provide a little piece of history to whoever finds it in the future.
We have been bowled over by the response, and the effort that some of the children have gone to. Ideas for inclusion include fidget spinners, a list detailing the cost of living in 2017, along with details of likes, dislikes and aspirations. One child went as far as to send in a packet of their favourite sweets, which shows incredible dedication!
Some of the children will visit White Lodge Farm next week to help to bury the time capsule in the area of green open space on the east side of the development, and we hope it will be something that they remember for many years to come.
