GRACE HOMES TAKES PART IN CHARITY WALK AT BOUGHTON HOUSE

On the evening of Saturday 13th September, Grace Homes staff and directors together with family members met at the historic Boughton House in Northamptonshire to take part in the ‘Walk 10’ charity walk in aid of Marie Curie nurses.

At 6:00 pm we were all limbered up and ready to begin with rucksacks full of water and the obligatory snacks and sweets to help us and the younger members of the team on our way.

A sea of yellow t-shirts navigated their way through the courtyard of the house and around the spectacular grounds taking in the impressive views, stampeding sheep and talking daffodils!!

Just over two hours later we all crossed the finishing line and promptly found a spot in front of the house to spread out picnic blankets and to listen to the band which was playing before the fireworks began.

A fantastic evening was had by all and the money that we raised will benefit a truly deserving cause.
