Having said that, we're not solely a developer of village properties. When we find the right plot, we will draw up plans for an urban development – apartments or townhouses – in towns such as Leicester, Market Harborough, Loughborough, and Melton Mowbray. Wherever we work on new builds and conversions, we try to match our designs to the local building style, which is why we're just as much at home creating contemporary apartments or turning old factories into modern lofts and studio apartments.
The population of Leicestershire is increasing – as is the countywide demand for new houses. While there are numerous builders of conveyor-belt homes, there are fewer developers like Grace Homes that build a range of better quality properties. We prefer to generate sales of new homes based on craftsmanship and natural materials such as timber, stone, slate, tile, and brick.
