New buildings are a rarity in Great Easton. This south-east Leicestershire village may hold residents in its spell, but few are lucky enough to enjoy its thousand-year history from the comfort of a modern home.
The Chestnuts is a small-scale development of just 17 new homes on a former paddock close to the heart of the village. The variety of styles echoes the variety within the village itself.
